For a Las Vegas pastry or dessert stop, choose a currently listed counter near the rest of your plans and check the service you actually want. Bellagio Patisserie, ARIA Patisserie and Carlo’s Bakery at The Venetian provide three starting points. Opening hours, individual counters and celebration-cake arrangements need separate checks.
Three dessert stops to compare
| Venue | Where to start | Published detail |
|---|---|---|
| Bellagio Patisserie | Bellagio, 3600 S. Las Vegas Boulevard | Daily 6 AM–9:45 PM; separate omelet and crepe service details |
| ARIA Patisserie | ARIA, 3730 S. Las Vegas Boulevard | Overall 24-hour listing, with shorter retail, crepe and gelato hours |
| Carlo’s Bakery | The Venetian Resort’s Grand Canal Shoppes | Currently listed cakes and confections; check the actual counter and collection arrangements |
Bellagio Patisserie: check the counter and the item
The official Patisserie page lists pastries, crepes, chocolates and other choices. Its daily hours are 6 AM–9:45 PM, with omelets listed only until noon and crepes until 9:45 PM. It gives the route past the Conservatory to the counter opposite Essentials.
Check the display or current menu for the pastry, size and price you want. A published selection does not promise that a particular pistachio eclair is available every day. The earlier $8 eclair and $10 tart estimates are not reused as current quotes, and a fountain description is not evidence that a pastry has been tasted or ranked.
ARIA Patisserie: 24 hours does not mean every service
The current ARIA page uses the name ARIA Patisserie. It lists overall 24-hour operation, retail hours of 7 AM–10 PM, crepes from 7 AM–7 PM and gelato from 11:30 AM–11 PM. Reconfirm the named service before making a late-night journey.
Use that present operator name and menu rather than the old Jean-Philippe-at-ARIA description. A broad late-night listing does not guarantee the retail display, a specific cake, a particular flavor or custom-order collection at every hour.
Carlo’s Bakery: distinguish a counter purchase from a cake order
The Venetian’s current Carlo’s Bakery listing identifies cakes and daily confections, with cannoli and lobster-tail pastry imagery. Use the current resort map and bakery instructions for the actual purchase; the Venetian and Palazzo arrival guide helps with the larger resort journey.
For a celebration cake, ask about the required notice, design, servings, collection window, payment and change terms before ordering. Do not infer that an item in a display or an online photograph is available immediately in every size.
Keep pastry planning separate from an ice-cream shortlist
For cups, cones and frozen treats instead, use the separate ice cream and gelato shop guide. It compares those shops, serving formats and journeys. This article focuses on pastry counters and the distinction between ordinary service and a cake order.
Ask the counter about the actual ingredients, fillings and preparation when dietary needs affect the choice. A flavor name, vegan label on another item or decorative photograph does not answer every ingredient or shared-equipment question. Confirm packaging and the conditions for carrying the purchase before adding another outing.
Count the separate dessert stop in the whole bill
Invented example for two: two $10 pastries and two $5 coffees make a $30 subtotal before applicable extras. If a second venue offers an equivalent suitable $24 subtotal but creates $20 of extra travel, that comparison becomes $30 versus $44 on the same basis: $14 more despite the $6 lower menu subtotal.
These are hypothetical amounts, not bakery quotes or fares. Apply the actual taxes and charges and any tip you choose consistently. Use the dinner-for-two worksheet so dessert elsewhere is added once to the evening, rather than disappearing from the meal budget.
Current operator names, listings and service details checked October 16, 2026. Recheck the actual date, counter and order. Retained pictures do not establish today’s stock, price or portion; no new personal tasting or universal quality ranking is claimed.
