About Vegas Local Travel Guide

Vegas Local Travel Guide helps visitors compare hotels, choose shows and attractions, and plan the cost of a Las Vegas trip. It is written from the perspective of a frequent Vegas visitor, rather than a Las Vegas resident.

The word “Local” in the site name describes the focus on places and practical decisions in Las Vegas. It should not be read as a claim that the author lives in the city.

What the guides help you decide

Hotels: compare location, room categories, amenities and the full booking cost.
Shows and attractions: compare the experience, venue, seating and booking terms.
Trip costs: work through transport, meals, parking and itinerary choices.

How to read the recommendations

A recommendation is a judgment about who a hotel or experience may suit. It is separate from a factual claim about a fee, age restriction, opening time or included benefit. For those details, follow the provider’s current information and the terms attached to your booking.

Look for dated source checks and links to official property or venue information. Visitor reports, including Reddit discussions, can help identify questions about noise, queues or service; they do not establish a hotel policy or guarantee your experience.

A researched guide is not a personal stay review. Firsthand observations should describe the actual visit and its date. The site does not promise that every hotel, show or restaurant mentioned has been personally tested.

Prices and changes

Room rates, ticket prices and services change. Compare the final total for your dates, guest count and chosen category. Treat a clearly labeled budget example as an illustration, not a current provider quote. Check cancellation terms and amounts due at the property before booking.

Affiliate disclosure

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you book or buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Those commissions help support the site.

Compare the final price and conditions with the provider. A discount depends on the dates, availability and offer terms; we do not promise a fixed saving or that every linked offer is exclusive or the lowest price.
