Las Vegas Sushi: Omakase, Strip Dining & AYCE Compared

Choose a Las Vegas sushi restaurant by dining format before comparing prices. Kabuto offers a focused course experience; Nobu at Caesars Palace and Sushi Roku offer different Strip dining choices; Yama’s all-you-can-eat options depend on the branch and package.

Those are different purchases. Compare the exact menu, reservation conditions and full outing cost rather than assuming a Strip address means better food or an off-Strip address means a cheaper meal. This is a researched planning comparison, not a new personal taste test.

Omakase, à la carte or all-you-can-eat?

Option Where to start What to confirm
Focused course meal Kabuto on Spring Mountain Road Course suitability, reservation time, substitutions and cancellation terms
Strip restaurant with sushi and other dishes Nobu at Caesars Palace The selected menu: à la carte, omakase and teppanyaki are separate choices
Strip menu or a shared feast Sushi Roku at the Forum Shops What the selected set includes and what costs extra
All-you-can-eat The exact Yama branch Package price, service period, time limit, exclusions and any leftover charge

Kabuto: book for the course and its restrictions

Kabuto lists evening seatings at 5:30 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. and an approximately two-hour experience centered on raw fish. It says substitutions are not available and each guest, including children, must order a course meal.

Its reservation policy page lists bookings through Resy up to 30 days ahead, requires credit-card authorization and says cancellation at least one business day in advance avoids a 100% cancellation fee. Read the terms shown for your reservation and confirm any question directly before committing.

This can be a candidate when your group wants that structured experience and can meet its conditions. If someone needs a different meal format or substitutions, resolve that before booking rather than assuming the kitchen can redesign the course on arrival.

Nobu: choose the correct branch and menu

The linked Nobu menu is for Caesars Palace. Do not use a different Las Vegas branch’s menu or location when making a reservation. In particular, Nobu at Virgin Hotels is an off-Strip destination.

The Caesars Palace menu identifies omakase as a per-person tasting menu requiring the whole table to participate, unavailable after 9 p.m. It separately labels nigiri and sashimi prices per piece and provides a separate teppanyaki menu.

Check the units as carefully as the dollar amounts. A tasting menu per person, a sushi piece and a shared plate do not create comparable meal totals until you build the order. Ask about current course pricing and any supplements rather than carrying an old omakase estimate into your budget.

Sushi Roku: compare the actual order

Sushi Roku’s Las Vegas location page provides its reservation and dress information. Its menu lists the Roku Izakaya Feast at $198 for two guests. That is one published menu option, not the cost of every dinner or an all-you-can-eat offer.

Ask what that selection includes and price your intended drinks and extras separately. If you prefer à la carte, compare the dishes you would actually order. For a dinner before a show, allow time for the meal and the journey to the theater; a restaurant reservation is not a promise of a particular finishing time.

Yama: three addresses, different visits

Yama’s official directory lists 1350 E Flamingo Road, 3909 Spring Mountain Road and 2235 E Cheyenne Avenue. The branches have different operating schedules and offerings, so confirm the branch before checking the current menu or route.

Ask which items the selected AYCE package covers, whether sashimi or special items have limits, and whether drinks are separate. Check the dining time limit, whole-table participation and any charge for uneaten food. These are questions to settle with the branch, not a claim that identical restrictions apply everywhere.

Compare the full evening cost

Include food, beverages, applicable tax, disclosed charges, your chosen gratuity and round-trip travel. Illustration, not menu or fare quotes: a $160 dinner total nearby and a $140 dinner total plus $30 in transport cost $160 and $170 respectively. The lower food bill alone does not create a saving.

Use our dining-budget examples and transport comparison. Confirm dietary needs, dress requirements, cancellation terms and the menu period before reserving.
