For Las Vegas student discounts, check the institution, age range, accepted ID and final price before booking. An offer for UNLV students may not cover a visiting student from another college, and a ticket labelled “student” can have a specific age limit.
Listings checked October 15, 2026. Bring current proof of eligibility and confirm the offer for your visit date; prices and conditions can change.
Verified starting points for student savings
| Option | Published offer or condition | Who should check it |
|---|---|---|
| Atomic Museum | $15 college-student admission with ID, compared with $29 adult admission. Rebel Wednesdays lists free admission with current UNLV ID. | College visitors with qualifying ID; the Wednesday benefit specifically requires UNLV ID. |
| Mob Museum ticket categories | The student ticket is labelled ages 11–17, one per valid ID. | Eligible younger visitors. Adult college enrollment alone does not meet that published age category. |
| O group bookings | The operator lists school and nonprofit group options for groups of 10+. | An organized group that can obtain a quote; this is not an individual student-ID offer. |
The Atomic Museum is at 755 E. Flamingo Road. Its page lists free on-site parking and cashless payment. Published discounts cannot be combined; compare the dated purchase conditions before choosing a ticket. A visitor from another university should not assume that the UNLV Wednesday offer applies.
Shows: ask about the specific performance
For campus performances, use the UNLV Performing Arts Center box office and the event’s official ticket link. Its policies require the identification specified by staff when discounted tickets are offered. Additional online fees may apply, most sales include a facilities fee, and the published policy does not provide refunds or adjustments to earlier purchases. Ask about eligibility before buying a regular ticket.
For a Strip show, compare the exact date, section, seat and final total through its operator. A general promotion might be better than a student offer. Our advance-versus-last-minute ticket guide explains the availability and flexibility tradeoffs.
Food and transport: count the entire outing
For a meal deal, confirm the participating branch, ordering channel, eligible menu items and whether a current ID or verified account is required. Compare your actual order with the regular menu before adding tax, any disclosed charges and your chosen tip. Asking about a discount is useful; budget for the confirmed answer.
The RTC’s student-pass page describes institution-specific programs, including UNLV passes requiring valid campus ID. Check the applicable school program and visitor-route rules. A college card from elsewhere is not a universal Las Vegas transit discount.
Hypothetical outing: a $15 admission plus $30 round-trip transport costs $45. A suitable $29 activity within walking distance costs $16 less if it has no added transport cost. Those transport figures are examples, not quotes; choose the experience you want and compare the complete journey rather than the size of a discount.
Before paying
Save the offer’s terms, confirm acceptable proof and age rules, and check the refund deadline. For accommodation, ask the exact hotel about minimum check-in age, the required card and any incidental authorization before booking.
