I’m Andres, the person behind Vegas Local Travel Guide. I visit Las Vegas and write for travelers planning their own trips. I do not live in Las Vegas.
What I focus on
The site focuses on the decisions that shape a trip: where to stay, which show or attraction to choose, and how to compare the complete cost. A useful guide explains the trade-offs and gives readers a way to check the details for their own dates.
- Hotels: location, room categories, pool rules and booking costs.
- Shows and attractions: the experience, venue, seating and restrictions.
- Trip planning: transport, meals, itineraries and a realistic budget.
Experience and research
Personal observations and researched information serve different purposes. A stay review should identify the actual visit; a researched comparison should point to the sources behind its factual claims. A mention of a hotel or attraction is not a claim that I have personally tested it.
Official hotel and venue information is the starting point for policies, amenities and booking terms. Dated visitor reports can add context about the experience, but another person’s report cannot guarantee what you will encounter.
How to compare value
Compare the total price and cancellation terms for the same dates and requirements. Then decide which features you will actually use. A cheaper room rate can be less useful if it adds transport costs or puts you far from the main purpose of your trip.
How the site is funded
Some booking links are affiliate links. We may earn a commission if you book through them, at no extra cost to you. Read the affiliate disclosure and compare the provider’s final price and terms before paying.
