Park MGM: a casino resort with a broader smoking restriction
Park MGM’s smoking policy covers its casino, convention center, restaurants, bars, hotel rooms, corridors, common areas and resort pools. It permits smoking only in designated locations, including areas around the rideshare zone and other specified outdoor points.
Consider it when you want a casino resort with those restrictions. Check the designated locations against your likely entrance, pickup and pool routes. The policy also addresses vaping and e-cigarettes; do not assume they are allowed wherever tobacco smoking is restricted.
Vdara: check the hotel and the route beyond it
MGM describes Vdara as an all-suite, non-gaming, smoke-free hotel. Its current FAQ identifies designated smoking areas outside, including near the valet/dog-park area and stairs toward Harmon Avenue.

Four Seasons and Waldorf Astoria: verify the facilities you will use
Four Seasons describes its Las Vegas hotel as non-gaming and non-smoking. Its property facts identify access to adjacent Mandalay Bay. Ask about the particular entrance and facilities in your itinerary rather than applying one hotel’s policy to its neighbor.

A non-smoking room is a narrower promise
For example, ARIA’s current FAQ says its hotel rooms and suites are smoke-free except for certain designated Sky Suites, while also identifying smoking areas in the casino, bars and other parts of the resort. This illustrates why the room category and common-area policy need separate checks.
Do not infer measured air quality from a building’s age, price or luxury label. A description such as “good ventilation” needs evidence before it can support a comparative claim. Guest reports about smells describe individual experiences and may help you form questions; they do not establish a technical filtration standard.
Questions to ask before reserving
