Las Vegas Hotels for Solo Travelers: Rooms, Location and Costs

For a solo Las Vegas stay, choose the hotel around your own itinerary, room needs and complete price for one guest. The Cosmopolitan, Park MGM, The LINQ and Vdara offer different features. None can promise that you will meet people, have a quiet room or feel comfortable in every setting.

Four hotel options for different solo-trip priorities

Choose the location using the Downtown-versus-Strip guide, then compare specific rooms. Being close on a map does not establish the length, access or comfort of the route from your room to the actual entrance.

The Cosmopolitan: book the terrace and view you actually want

The operator’s Terrace Studio King Fountain View listing specifies one king bed, 730 square feet and a private terrace with fountain views. Do not assume that every Cosmopolitan room includes the same outdoor space or view.

For one traveler, the useful question is how much time you intend to spend in that room. Compare its complete stay price with a suitable room without the upgrade, using the same dates and cancellation conditions. Park MGM: smoke-free setting and a specific room category

The Park MGM room page lists the Park MGM King at 406 square feet with one king bed and a maximum of two guests. The property also lists The Reserve at Park MGM as a separate collection; compare the exact room and benefits on the booking rather than relying on an older hotel name.

Park MGM’s FAQ describes its smoke-free resort policy, with smoking limited to designated areas. It requires the person reserving a room to be at least 21 and have a major credit card. Its rates are based on single/double occupancy, so one occupant does not automatically make the room half price. Confirm the chosen rate and payment requirements.

Eataly provides both grab-and-go counters and seated restaurants. That offers formats to investigate for a meal alone; it does not guarantee an available seat, the same menu at every counter or service at every venue’s advertised overall opening time.

The LINQ: compare location with the actual room and outing costs

Caesars’ current property overview places The LINQ between Flamingo and Harrah’s and lists restaurants, O’Sheas and entertainment in the area. It identifies Influence pool access as 21+. Nearby High Roller or FLY LINQ access is a separate activity purchase unless your selected package explicitly includes it.

A central location may fit the places you want to visit, but it does not establish that The LINQ is the cheapest available hotel or that a pool, bar or room will be quiet. Compare the full quote with the LINQ-versus-Flamingo guide, including the actual room category and access rules.

Vdara: room facilities without an on-site casino

The property’s own description identifies Vdara as casino-free and smoke-free. Its Studio listing specifies 582 square feet, one king bed, a kitchenette, a two-burner cooktop, an under-counter refrigerator and a dining table for two.

Check what cooking equipment is supplied and what you actually intend to prepare before treating a kitchenette as a meal saving. A Studio’s open-plan facilities are not the same as a separate bedroom. Use the suite-versus-king-room comparison to check layouts and the full stay cost. Having no casino inside the hotel does not guarantee silence in every room.

A solo budget: room nights and spending days are different

Hypothetical two-night trip spanning three spending days: suppose the complete hotel quote for one adult is $480, meals are allocated $40 per day, local transport totals $90 and activities total $60.

That is $250 per spending day. The hotel portion averages $240 per booked night, or $160 per spending day. Add getting to Las Vegas, shopping, optional gambling and any omitted purchases separately. These are illustrative allocations, not hotel offers or a citywide spending average.

For comparison, suppose an equivalent quote for two adults is also $480, their shared local transport remains $90, and each still spends $120 on meals and $60 on activities. The group total is $930, or $465 each. The solo plan is $285 more per person because those hotel and transport costs are not shared. Actual occupancy quotes and journeys may differ.

Check the booking and the return route

If SAHARA is another option for a solo stay, compare its exact room categories, included-fee pricing and added journeys. Quote the actual room for one guest and match the location to your plans before treating a displayed rate as the full trip cost.

• Confirm the reserving guest’s age, accepted ID, payment method and deposit requirements with the chosen property.
• Plan the actual arrival and late return, including the correct hotel pickup or entrance. Use the Strip transport guide rather than a guaranteed fare or walking-time claim.
• Ask the property about access, room requests or assistance you need. Price, a busy lobby and the presence of a casino do not independently establish a hotel safety rating.
• Check a restaurant’s service period and whether it accepts your party of one. A bar seat is an option to ask about, not a guaranteed full-menu reservation.
