Las Vegas Strip Happy Hours: Times, Prices and Bar Rules

For a lower-cost Strip happy hour, start with El Segundo Sol for margaritas and small plates, Sugarcane for an afternoon or late-night menu, STK for a daily bar-and-lounge window, or Coyote Ugly for early-evening drinks. Choose by your actual day, location and eligible seating: the same offer may not apply at a dining-room table or on a Friday.

Official venue listings and menus checked October 16, 2026. Prices below are advertised menu prices before tax, gratuity, transport and any other applicable charges. Recheck the linked venue listing before going.

Which deal fits your plans?

El Segundo Sol: a simple margarita-and-food stop

The restaurant’s location listing puts it at Fashion Show across from Wynn. Its regular happy hour runs Sunday through Thursday in the bar. Choose a listed tostada or mini fajita if you want food with your drink, and check the portion before treating small plates as dinner.

For two people, two $6.50 margaritas and two $5 tostadas total $23 before extras. That prices a specific snack order; it does not cover a full meal or another round. The website also advertises a separate Friday margarita promotion, 2–5 PM, with $3 Sol or frozen house margaritas and terms applying. Confirm that promotion directly; it does not extend the Sunday–Thursday food menu to Friday.

Sugarcane: an option after a later show

Sugarcane’s Las Vegas location page confirms both Sunday–Thursday happy-hour periods. The second starts at 10 PM; the same page currently lists an 11 PM close on those days. Plan around that short window rather than assuming service continues deep into the night.

A sample shared order is two $10 cocktails, six $2.50 oysters and $5 fries: $40 before extras. The oyster minimum makes that portion $15, not $2.50 for a plate. Friday and Saturday are outside the published happy-hour days, even though the restaurant opens later on those nights.

STK: a daily window with a seating condition

The Cosmopolitan lists STK happy hour daily from 2:30–5:30 PM, specifically in the bar and lounge. That makes it worth checking for a Friday or Saturday when other listed deals do not run. Ask for the current Las Vegas happy-hour menu before ordering. A standard dinner reservation does not establish eligibility for the bar-and-lounge offer.

Coyote Ugly: later drinks before the performance

New York-New York’s venue listing places Coyote Ugly on the Mezzanine to the left of Pour 24. Its daily 6–9 PM happy hour is later than the afternoon options above. The same listing gives the first performance as 9:30 PM, so the performance starts after this happy-hour window. Confirm the applicable entry charge if arriving or returning later.

Keep the saving after the rest of the bill

Before adding an off-Strip journey, compare Honey Salt, downtown Pizza Rock and Herbs & Rye food-offer conditions. Check the actual food, eligible day and seating, then test the complete outing against a suitable nearby Strip option.

  1. Choose one nearby stop. A cheaper drink can cost more overall if reaching it adds a taxi, rideshare or paid parking. Use your hotel entrance and the restaurant’s actual entrance when planning the route.
  2. Check where the offer applies. Ask about bar seating, patio eligibility, available seats and the current menu before ordering. A reservation may not guarantee the discounted seating area.
  3. Check the cutoff rule. Ask when the final qualifying order must be placed. Do not assume sitting down before the end time locks in prices for the rest of the evening.
  4. Price the order you want. Include portion minimums, extra rounds, tax, gratuity and applicable charges. Review the bill for an included service charge before adding a tip.
  5. Leave time for your next booking. Include seating, food preparation, payment and the complete walk to the theater. A menu window is not a promise of quick service.

Reddit and map reviews can suggest places to investigate, but an old menu photo may show another branch, a one-day promotion or an expired price. Open the venue’s current location-specific menu and confirm your day and seating before making the journey.

Plan the rest of the evening

For a beer or cocktail outing outside these offer windows, compare Able Baker, Atomic Liquors and Rosina by venue and complete cost. Check the selected branch and current menu separately from any happy-hour eligibility, then include the return journey.

Use the dinner-for-two cost guide if you need a full meal rather than snacks. Check Vegas tipping guidance when setting the total allowance, and use the Strip guide for less walking to choose a practical route.

If food comes after the show, compare late-night Strip restaurants by closing time and last seating. For a fixed evening schedule, the advance-versus-later show-booking guide explains the ticket details to settle before fitting a happy hour around it.
