Choose a Las Vegas piano bar by the performance you want: dueling pianos, karaoke or a pianist in a cocktail lounge are different outings. Check the music start time separately from the bar’s opening hours, then confirm admission, seating and spending conditions for that particular night.
Venue and performer sources checked October 15, 2026. Published schedules can change for private events, holidays and special programming.
Three named places to check
| Venue | What the current source establishes | Before you travel |
|---|---|---|
| Bar at Times Square, New York-New York | The operator lists dueling pianos daily, 8 p.m.–2 a.m. Bar opening hours start earlier and vary by day. | Confirm that night’s program, cover, seating and any minimum spend. An open bar does not mean the pianos have started. |
| The Piano Bar, Harrah’s | Caesars maintains a current venue page titled for live shows and karaoke. We could not retrieve a complete current performance timetable from it. | Ask which act or format is scheduled at your arrival time. Do not use a historical dueling-piano timetable as today’s promise. |
| Petrossian Bar, Bellagio | Bellagio lists the lounge; pianist Whitney Phoenix’s own calendar lists Petrossian appearances. | Match the performer’s date and start time to your plan; this is a piano-lounge alternative, not a dueling-piano listing. |
For a concrete dated example, Phoenix’s October 2026 calendar lists 8 p.m. Petrossian starts on October 21 and 28. It also lists afternoon starts on other dates. Recheck the calendar and venue before going; those examples do not establish a nightly all-evening schedule.
Check performance times against the offer
Bar at Times Square currently lists a 4–7 p.m. happy hour and an 8 p.m. piano start. A happy-hour drink price therefore does not establish the price during the piano show. Its venue page also warns that admission, prices and schedules can change for special events.
For any venue, ask whether a reservation includes admission, guarantees a particular seat, requires a deposit or creates a minimum spend. Confirm age and ID requirements for your whole group. We do not quote a universal cover, free-entry rule or drink minimum across these bars.
Calculate the complete night-out cost
Use the actual admission charge plus food and drinks, applicable taxes, any mandatory charges, your chosen tip and transport. Ask how a stated minimum is calculated so you do not count both the minimum and the same qualifying purchases as separate charges.
For example, suppose an entirely fictional offer charges $15 admission per person and requires $25 of qualifying purchases per person. For two people, those two components total $80 before taxes, other charges, a chosen tip and transport. If your eligible purchases already meet the minimum, do not add another $50 minimum on top. These figures are not venue quotes.
Ask how requests work; a tip does not buy a guaranteed song
Check whether the performers accept requests, how to submit one and whether audience participation is part of the scheduled format. Treat a request tip as optional spending within your limit. Do not assume that tipping guarantees a song, a place on stage or priority over other guests.
Choose the performance first, then plan the journey using our Strip transport guide. If air quality affects your venue choice, check the actual lounge and its approach route; our hotel smoking-policy guide explains why a room policy and the surrounding casino setting are separate questions.
