Choose the actual club night, not a permanent genre label
Start with the artist, event and room on your travel date. A club can host electronic music, hip-hop or a mixed set on different nights, and a named performer may play a DJ set rather than a live concert. Compare the current event listing before choosing tickets.
Current XS planning note: Wynn’s August 18, 2026 announcement schedules XS’s reopening for November 5, beginning with RÜFÜS DU SOL [DJ SET]. Do not assume October availability from an older nightlife list. Confirm the Wynn Nightlife calendar for your date.
Where to start by musical preference
| What you want | Venues or events to check | Why the date matters |
|---|---|---|
| Electronic DJs or a major headliner | OMNIA at Caesars Palace; Hakkasan at MGM Grand; XS after its scheduled reopening. | Check the named artist, set type, room and actual performance date. |
| Hip-hop with another style in the mix | Marquee at The Cosmopolitan; the current Drai’s After Hours calendar. | Drai’s listings include specific Latin/hip-hop and house/hip-hop nights. |
| Top 40 or a broader mix | Marquee, OMNIA or JEWEL at ARIA. | The operators describe varied programming; a mixed lineup does not guarantee every room plays every style. |
| A smaller house-music event | Marquee’s Lowkey in the Library listing. | Its FAQ describes Wednesday tech/deep-house programming; confirm the current event and admission. |
Electronic music: compare the artist and the room
OMNIA’s FAQ describes electronic DJs through Top 40 and directs visitors to its event calendar. It also notes that different rooms may have different talent and that dance-floor access can be limited by capacity.
Hakkasan’s FAQ likewise describes varied programming and multiple rooms. Neither description supports a promise that the same genre, artist or dance-floor access will be available every night. Choose the event you want rather than judging only by a venue’s reputation.
Hip-hop and open-format nights: verify the listed combination
Marquee’s FAQ lists electronic, Top 40 and hip-hop music, as well as its separate Library event. JEWEL’s FAQ directs visitors to date-specific artists across electronic and Top 40 programming. For a mixed-taste group, compare that night’s lineup before deciding it is an open-format fit.
The current Drai’s site presents Drai’s After Hours. Its calendar lists Latin/hip-hop at 1 AM on October 17, 2026, and house/hip-hop at 1 AM on October 18. Those are dated examples, not a permanent weekly guarantee or a booking for the older rooftop venue. An event at 1 AM Saturday falls after Friday evening: check the calendar date carefully.
A daytime pool event is a separate plan with its own season, hours and clothing rules. Use our beach-club comparison rather than treating a pool lounge as a late-night club.
Check admission before paying
- Age and identification: read the specific venue’s accepted-ID rules. For example, Marquee is 21+ and requires a physical ID; its FAQ requires a physical passport for international guests.
- Clothing and bags: check the actual event’s policy. Our nightclub dress-code guide explains why a shoe rule at one venue does not establish acceptance elsewhere.
- Arrival: distinguish the door-opening time, ticket or guest-list cutoff and headliner’s performance. Ask about re-entry and room access.
- Purchase type: compare standing admission with any table package, beverage minimum, service charge, tax and optional gratuity. A guest-list registration is not the same purchase as a confirmed ticket.
Compare the full group’s cost
Illustrative four-person example: four final-price tickets at $60 total $240. A $160 group drinks allowance and $40 transport allowance bring the evening to $440, or $110 each. If a table proposal totals $700 on the same complete basis, it costs $260 more overall, or $65 more each. These are planning figures, not venue quotes or a promise that bottle service is cheaper.
Before committing to bottle service, check the minimum, itemized total, upfront payment and admitted party size. Our nightclub table-cost guide explains those checks with one dated XS quote.
Check which charges and gratuities are included before comparing; our tipping guide covers that distinction. If a club night does not suit your plans, compare rooftop bars or the dates in our LGBTQ+ nightlife guide.
Checked October 16, 2026, using linked operator information. Event dates, reopening plans, talent and entry conditions can change. No fixed cover, drink price, line-skipping promise or personal visit is claimed.
